In July 2007, O‘ahu SWCDs staff volunteered time to help State Department of Health representatives give a presentation to 4th graders at Hanahau‘oli School in Mānoa. Students learned about the causes of non-point source pollution and how kids can reduce their impact on the environment. At the end of the presentation, each student posed for a picture with ‘Apoha the O‘opu.
