In August 2006, the O‘ahu SWCDs participated in the first ever Immigrant Farmer Outreach Workshop at Fat Law Farm in ‘Ewa. Agencies from all over O‘ahu spoke about their programs in an effort to bring our services to the ever-growing Southeast Asian immigrant farmer population. The 2nd Annual Immigrant Farmer Outreach Workshop was held in August 2007.
