Two sections of 25.8" O.D. HDPE pipe were installed for the new water distribution system using horizontal boring and drilling (shown to the left). The first section was a 1,890' pipeline installed under Pōhakuokalā Gulch and Crater Road, and the second section was a 1,000' pipe border under a neighboring gulch.
