The Hawai‘i Association of Conservation Districts (HACD) encompasses 16 Soil & Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs) throughout the State of Hawai‘i. Since its inception in 1954, HACD has worked to coordinate and facilitiate local partners and governmental agencies in identifying and implementing projects and practices with cultural sensitivity to assure the protection of Hawai‘i's environment.
